Please note : All of our youth programs are run in a drop-in format and are free of charge; however, youth must be initially registered by a parent/guardian in order to participate. Weekly Youth Programs
Mondays: Junior Girls Club (ages 7-10) at the Centre.
This program runs from 3-5 pm at the Centre (6-27 Marlene Street) and is designed to encourage the younger girl-identifying youth to explore what it means to be a kid. We do various activities such as: singing together, enjoying the process of creating food together, doing arts and crafts, watching movies, and being outside! The program leader is always open to suggestions from the girls.
Wednesdays: Arts and Crafts (ages 7-12) at the Centre.
The arts and crafts program runs from 3-5 pm at the Centre (6-27 Marlene Street) and encourages the youth to collaborate for maximum fun potential! The youth get the opportunity to explore various aspects of visual arts, all while being guided by the program coordinator. There are facilitators that come in to do workshops with the youth as well.
Thursdays: Boys Club (ages 7-10)
This program runs from 3-5 pm at the Centre (6-27 Marlene Street) and encourages the boy-identifying youth to explore what it means to be a kid. We do various activities such as: playing sports outside, playing games, movies, cooking, and more! The program leader is always open to suggestions from the boys.
Fridays: Hoops I Did it Again/Senior Girl’s Club (ages 10+).
Girls meet at the Centre (6-27 Marlene Street) from 3:30-5 pm for field trips, intentional conversation, exploration of self, outdoor wide games, enjoyment of food and the process of making food, and much more!
Boys meet at Lavallee School Gym (505 St. Anne's Rd.) from (5:15 -7 pm) to play basketball or collaborate on another activity!
